Oscar joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Internacional in 2012 for close to £20m and will become the most expensive player to depart Stamford Bridge – trumping the £50m David Luiz went to Paris Saint-Germain for in 2014.
Chelsea midfielder Oscar will join Chinese side Shanghai SIPG in an astonishing £56.5million deal next month.
He will become the most expensive signing by a Chinese Super League club, joining up with his former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas as clubs in the Far East continue to splash the cash.
The 25-year-old has played just 456 minutes of Premier League action this season – making five starts – as Conte’s side have flown to the top of the Premier League.
He leaves Stamford Bridge having won the Premier League title, Europa League, League Cup and twice winning the club’s goal of the season award.
Oscar will be the latest player with Chelsea connections to play in China, following Didier Drogba, Ramires, Nicolas Anelka and Demba Ba.
