Sam Allardyce is the new manager of Crystal Palace. After completing talks with Eagles chairman Steve Parish at the club’s training ground earlier today, Allardyce put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
In a statement, Palace chairman Steve Parish said: ‘We are delighted to be able to make an appointment so quickly and fortunate that someone of Sam’s calibre and experience was available’.
Allardyce also added that “When you’re there, there’s always a very good, atmosphere and a very passionate one. “So, I hope we can bring some joy, particularly over Christmas and New Year.”
