Chelsea banished the thoughts of  last weekend defeat at the white hart lane by Tottenham with a very commanding performance today at the King Power stadium against Leicester City. 

Leicester City Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi made his debut today.  Though he featured for the losing side, but he did show why Leicester City spent £15m for his signature.

Chelsea opened scoring in the 6th minute when Hazard unselfishly dropped the ball for Alonso to score the first of the night.

The front three of Pedro, Hazard and Willian made Chelsea fans forget Costa with their swift and intelligent interplay amongst themselves.
Alonso doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 51st minute with a sublime shot that deflected off the body of Wes Morgan to hit the left bottom corner. 

Pedro scored the third in the 71st minute to cap a wonderful evening for the blues.

Chelsea have 52 points now and seven points above Tottenham who are second on the premier league table.
