Gabriel Jesus mentioned the special role Fernandinho played in his arrival to Etihad stadium.
‘I spoke to Fernandinho before coming to Manchester, he called me for a good chat,’ Jesus added. ‘I liked what he told me about the city, the club and the work here.
‘That’s when I began to decide to come here, I was very comfortable with everything he told me and shortly after we met up with the national team we talked.
‘I’d already signed and I asked him everything about cars, housing, and he explained everything to me, the places, so he’s someone who is very important to my arrival at City.
