Arsenal legend Ian Wright, who played under Arsene Wenger between 1996 and 1998 has seen enough to suggest that the 67-years old French man will end his 21-years reign at the Emirates this summer.
Ian was speaking to BBC RADIO 5LIVE last night (Friday) on his discussion with Wenger on Thursday, he said ‘I was with the boss [Wenger] last night (Thursday) and if I’m going to be totally honest, I get the impression that I think that’s it, I genuinely believe that.
‘I was with him for a few hours last night, we were talking and obviously he didn’t say to me “I’m leaving at the end of the season”. I just get the impression, looking at him that that’s it, I think that’s it.
‘He actually mentioned to me that he’s coming to the end. I’ve never heard him say that.’
‘He looked tired,He looks winded like someone’s just whopped him in the stomach. He’s lost all his wind. I feel, if someone was to ask me if he’ll leave at the end of the season, I think he will.’
